Fish Sulfa Forte is a combination antibiotic containing Sulfadimethoxine and Ormetoprim (also known as SMZ-TMP or Sulfa/Trim). This synergistic formula treats a broad spectrum of gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

What It Treats:
- External Infections: Fin rot, tail rot, mouth rot, open sores, and ulcers. For external bacterial infections, consider Fish Flex.

How to Use:

Dosage:
- Initial Dose: One tablet per 10 gallons of aquarium water.
Subsequent Doses:
- Half the initial dose every 12 hours.
Treatment Duration:

- Complete the full treatment to prevent antibiotic resistance.
Administration:
- Dissolve tablets in a small container of aquarium water before adding to the main or quarantine tank.
Water Changes:
- Perform a 25% water change before each dose to maintain water quality.
Quarantine Tank:
- Treat infected fish in a separate quarantine tank to avoid disrupting the biological filter in the main aquarium.
